Import Finance
It is to facilitate the importers by financing the purchase
of goods & services from overseas suppliers.
It is an arrangement by overseas lender / banks to finance the import trade basis the reimbursement authority provided by the issuing bank.
Features
It helps the importer with additional time to pay for its imports without delaying the payment to the exporter. On maturity, importer can make payment to its bank who in turn will pay to the reimbursement bank.
Eligibility
Customers of Kotak Mahindra Bank with credit facility and current account enabled for Trade Finance.
